We have launched a 2024 writing competition just for children and young people who live locally.
We would love to hear from children and young people around the theme… ‘What it’s like to be me’.
Run in partnership with our Council of Governors, the competition is open to children and young people who:
- Live in Derby and Derbyshire
- Are aged 18 or under.
Young people should send us a poem, prose, letter, diary entry or blog post on the theme of 'what it's like to be me'. It must be their own, original work. The word limit is 500 words. Learn more on the competition page.
How can I help spread the word?
If you would like to share the details of the competition with local young people, please...
- Download, print out and display the writing competition poster
The poster has a QR code which goes to the competition page our website, where the entry form and the full competition rules can be found. The short URL for the Trust webpage is www.derbyshirehealthcareft.nhs.uk/writing
If you or a young person has any questions, please email dhcft.membership@nhs.net or telephone 01332 623723.
