We are pleased to announce that after voting closed last week, the following Trust members have been elected onto the Trust’s Council of Governors:
Amber Valley – two Public Governor vacancies:

- Valerie Broom
Derby City West – one Public Governor vacancy:
- Orla Smith
High Peak and Derbyshire Dales – one Public Governor vacancy:
- Julie Boardman
South Derbyshire – one Public Governor vacancy:
- Kevin Richards
Administration and Allied Support Staff – one Staff Governor vacancy:
- Marie Hickman
Caroline Maley, Trust Chair, said: “I would like to welcome all new members of the Council of Governors following our recent elections. Our new governors bring a wealth of skills and insight and I look forward to working with them over the next few years.”

The Council of Governors has a really important role in the running of the Trust. It is responsible for representing the interests of the Trust’s members, the public and partner organisations in how the Trust is governed.
