This week (Monday, 21 May – Sunday, 27 May) is Dementia Action Week.
Derbyshire County Council’s Adult Care services and other voluntary sector organisations are hosting events around the county. You can find a list of these on the Carers in Derbyshire website.
One of Adult Care’s aims is to encourage more staff to become a Dementia Friend. You can do this by attending a free Dementia Friends information session - more details on the Dementia Friends website.
The following sessions still have spaces:

Tuesday 22 May - Imperial Rooms, Matlock - session at 10am and session at 1pm

Tuesday 22 May - Erewash CVS, Granville Avenue, Long Eaton - sessions at 1pm and another at 2.30pm

Thursday 24 May - Lacemaker Court, Long Eaton - session at 10am and session at 11am

Friday 25 May - Staveley Centre, Staveley, Chesterfield - sessions at 10am & another at 11am

Friday 25 May - Charnos Hall, Ilkeston Community Hospital - 2pm to 4pm
