Please note that there will be two disruptions to traffic at the Royal Derby Hospital site this week.
Parking restrictions at Radbourne Unit – Friday 19 July, 7am-11am
Due to the arrival of a Kier construction site cabin, the entry/exit barriers at the Radbourne Unit will be dismantled between 8am and 11am, on Friday 19 July.
In order for the cabin to arrive safely, there will be parking restrictions in place from 7am to 11am – please see the attached map for further details.
Diversion at Royal Derby Hospital – Saturday 20 July, 5.30am-8am
There will be a vehicle diversion in place at Royal Derby Hospital on Saturday 20 July from 5.30am to approximately 8am. This will affect all vehicles entering the loop road, apart from emergency vehicles.
This is to accommodate a large delivery which will close the road. Traffic management signs will be in place, and personnel in high vis will help with directions.
The diversion will direct from entrance A, up Kings Drive and through the emergency gates next to car park 4. See attached image.
• Car Park 4 entry will be closed for the duration of this road closure.
• Access to the emergency department will remain the same, via main entrance A.
• Access to drop-off spaces at the main entrance and car park 8 will not be affected.
• Access to all other points around the site will be via the diversion.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused, and appreciate your continued patience and support while refurbishment works to ward 32 take place.
