The NHS would not have achieved all it has without the skill and dedication of its people who support.
Tomorrow (5 July) the NHS marks its 76th year, and Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is taking this opportunity to thank our incredible staff – both past and present.
To all NHS workers and volunteers — thank you for everything you do, every day!
The last year has been challenging but, together we are strengthening our foundations and we are reforming the NHS for the future.
Celebrating the Together Coalition’s Thank You Day
What is Thank You Day?
Sunday 7 July is the fourth national Thank You Day, led by the Together Coalition.
Thank You Day is all about taking a moment to come together and say ‘thank you’ to the people who spend their time and energy making our communities great places to live.
Again, we want to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to our staff – the NHS wouldn't be what it is without you!
We also want to thank our volunteers who go above and beyond to support our NHS staff to care for our patients.
Everyone can share the joy by organising your own event for this year’s Thank You Day on Sunday 7 July. Support, resources and ideas can be found on the Thank You Day page.
Remember to use the hashtags #ThankYouDay and #NHS76 on social media.
We are also taking this opportunity to promote our vacancies, so if you would like to work for the NHS, please visit Derbyshire Healthcare’s Current Vacancies page.
