Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is staging its Annual Members Meeting on Wednesday 21 September – and all local residents are invited to attend.

The Trust, which provides NHS mental health services and substance misuse (drug and alcohol) services across Derbyshire, as well as learning disability services in southern Derbyshire and children’s health services in Derby city, will be holding the meeting virtually from 4pm – 6pm on 21 September.

The meeting will cover the achievements and challenges of the Trust over the last year, and look ahead to the rest of 2022/23. There will be a special focus on the Trust’s Making Room for Dignity hospital building programme, which aims to eradicate dormitory accommodation from mental health facilities across the Derbyshire, and on the Trust’s employment service for people being supported by its community mental health teams..

The winners of the Trust’s ‘Looking forwards’ arts and crafts competition will also be announced.

Full details of the agenda and running order of the meeting are now available on the Trust’s website. The meeting will be held virtually using Microsoft Teams.

Any local residents who are interested in attending can book their place by emailing dhcft.membership@nhs.net or calling 01332 623723. Questions can also be submitted in advance, to be answered by the Trust’s Board at the meeting.
