Come to the joint recruitment event at the ProAct Stadium on Saturday 20 May and find out about opportunities to work for two NHS trusts: Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Foundation Trust. You may even be able to get interviewed for jobs on the day.

Whether you're an experienced health professional or keen to work for the NHS, our joint recruitment fair at Chesterfield Football Club will have something for you. Between 10am and 4pm, you will be able to learn about the range of opportunities across the two Trusts, speak to current staff and potentially secure a job there and then. Roles available

Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust...

  • Supports adults and older adults across the county experiencing mental ill health, both through teams operating in the community and in hospital settings like the Hartington Unit in Chesterfield.

  • Supports people with learning disabilities, people with eating disorders and people with drug and alcohol misuse problems across the county.

  • Provides children’s health services in the city of Derby and children’s mental health services across the south of Derbyshire.

    

Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Foundation Trust...

  • Delivers patient care through 11 community hospitals including older people's mental health wards, 4 minor injury units, 29 health centres including sexual health services and a learning disability centre
            
  • Are in the community of Derbyshire caring for people in their own homes via therapists, health visitors and district nurses, promoting public health in the wider community
            

  • Cares for patients of all ages with a special focus on the needs of elderly people and the very young.

 

As a result, both trusts employ many different types of staff – including nurses, healthcare assistants, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, pharmacists, counsellors, psychiatrists, admin support workers, catering staff, and estates and facilities staff.

This event will show you the breadth of opportunities available – not just in Chesterfield but across the county – and give you a flavour of what it’s like to work for the NHS.

Be interviewed on the day

At the recruitment fair, you will have the chance to apply for some vacant posts and be interviewed all in one day, where time allows. 

If you register your interest in advance (below), and provide an email address, you will be sent information about vacancies that will be open for interview on the day. However, there will be other opportunities available on the day at both trusts that you will be able to hear about and apply for.

To put your name down to be interviewed on 20 May, you will need to bring along:

  • Evidence of qualifications and professional registration (where required)
  • Confirmation of identity and eligibility to live and work in the UK.

 

Confirmation of identity could be: your passport or full birth certificate and a document confirming your national insurance number, photo driving licence and a utility bill showing current name and address (dated within the last three months).

If you have only one photographic document, you must bring two documents confirming your address.

For DBS purposes, please also bring as many as possible of the following: birth certificate, marriage certificate, P45/P60.
