Mental health workplace training programme
Every year, one in four people are estimated to have a mental health problem. These often manifest themselves at work, and there is increasing evidence that workplaces that are knowledgeable and supportive about mental health see increasing benefits in terms of productivity, turnover and employee relations.
Talking Mental Health Derbyshire is an NHS provider of talking therapies, delivered through the Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) programme.
The service offers expertise in identifying and treating mental health problems, helping people across Derbyshire.
Furthermore, Talking Mental Health Derbyshire provides short, low-cost training sessions to groups of directors and managers. All the profits from our workplace training sessions go back into treating and supporting Derbyshire residents.
Bespoke training packages
Training packages to businesses of all sizes are offered. Experts in the field of mental healthcare will work with you to develop sessions that address your specific needs.
These may cover topics like the signs and symptoms of stress, anxiety and depression, and tips and techniques that anyone can use if they are experiencing problems.

Alternatively, if you would prefer to purchase an existing training package, the Stress at Work sessions offer training for managers to identify potential problems in the workforce, and increases confidence in working with these. These sessions:

Talking Mental Health Derbyshire can also offer sessions geared towards all staff members, helping them identify and improve the ways they cope with stress, anxiety or depression.
