It is sometimes difficult to have equipment at home or in nursery/school due to space limitations. These issues will be taken into account, and you will be advised about what is needed and why.

If you are unsure about why a piece of equipment is being provided, please talk to your therapist. If a piece of equipment no longer fulfils it's purpose, make sure you let your therapist know so that your child's needs can be re-assessed.

Please take care of equipment that is provided. It is often costly and can take time to replace. You should receive information about how to periodically check the equipment, and how it should be used safely.

As your child grows, the equipment will need reviewing to ensure their needs are being met.  Please contact your therapist if you have any concerns.
