Get Involved with Derbyshire Healthcare!

Get involved image
Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust invites local people from across Derbyshire to get involved in all aspects of its work including membershipvolunteering, research and development and attending events and conferences.

We need the support of our local community to ensure the services we provide give the best possible care and treatment for the people of Derbyshire.

Foundation Trusts are still part of the NHS, but have powers which enable more local decision making and investment to respond to the needs of the community they serve – we cannot do this without your input.

Your involvement will help us to improve the way we provide health services. The views of our service users, their carers, our local communities and our staff are very important to us so get involved today to show your support for your local NHS.

Click on the links on the right for more information about ways to get involved.

New - neighbourhood involvement forums

We hold involvement forums for service users and carers being supported by our neighbourhood mental health teams. These meetings allow experts by experience to come together as equal partners with experts by profession – our neighbourhood staff. Learn more...

Mental Health Together

Mental Health Together is the service receiver and carer engagement service for Derbyshire. Mental Health Together is about involving mental health service receivers and carers across Derby and Derbyshire in how health and social care services are run, and the decisions made about how services are changed.
