The following services are provided by Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust at the Ilkeston Resource Centre:

Midway Day Hospital provides specialist group programmes for individuals who are predominantly over the age of 65 and are experiencing a range of mental health difficulties.

We also host question and answer evenings every other month alternating between the Dovedale Day Hospital and Midway Day Hospital sites.

The care team consists of mental health nurses, occupational therapists and nursing assistants.

We also have links with other professionals such as GPs, community mental health teams, social workers and physiotherapists that we can access should you require further support whilst attending the service.

Whilst attending the Day Hospital you will be allocated a named professional who will be responsible for your care.

Midway Day Hospital is based in Ilkeston, running on a Monday and Tuesday for clients from the Amber Valley and Erewash areas.

However, the service is flexible and we can accommodate your preference of location for attending the group therapies. See bottom of page for contact details.

Transport to and from the day hospital can also be arranged, if required.

Find out more by reading the Midway Day Hospital service leaflet or visit our day hospitals page.
