The Chairman of NHS Health Education England, Sir Keith Pearson, has visited our Trust to learn more about our commitments to values based recruitment.
We have been undertaking values based recruitment since 2012, having developed the values with staff, service users and partner organisations.
All members of staff who work within the Trust must demonstrate the appropriate attitudes and behaviours which underpin the organisation’s four key values which are:
NHS Health Education England are the engine of the health service that will deliver a better healthcare workforce for England. The organisation is responsible for the education, training and personal development of every member of staff, and recruiting for values.
Sir Keith Pearson, Chairman of Health Education England, said: “I visit Trusts across England to learn about what they are doing towards education and recruitment. Derbyshire Healthcare have displayed that they are ahead of the game and have clearly chosen some time ago the wonderful journey that they are going on.”
Health Education England were also proud of the work we are doing with local education institutes to nurture the future workforce through work placements across all departments.
