Junior doctors industrial action (6-8 April): advice for service receivers

Junior doctors in England are taking industrial action this week after talks between the British Medical Association (BMA), the Department of Health and NHS Employers failed to reach an agreement. The BMA is urging its junior doctor members to offer emergency care only between 8am on Wednesday 6 April and 8am on Friday 8 April.

Contingency plans and safeguards are in place across Derbyshire Healthcare's services. Cover is being provided by on-call doctors.
